The Burleson Family Research Group was originally started and we dedicated most of our research to the Descendants of Isaac Burleson Sr.   So if you are looking for information on other Burlesons you may not find them here. With the added research done by John Hoyle Burleson we are adding additional information to our web site.  This first new addition is “The Life and Travels of Aaron Burleson”.  You will find this in the Highlights Section. If you descend from Aaron Burleson or any other Burleson we would like to add your line to our data base.  You will see in this article that our Isaac’s father was a brother to Aaron Burleson.  With information from the Burleson Family Association we learned that Aaron and Isaac’s father were son’s of Jonathan Burleson born  11 June 1704 in Suffield (present day CT). We hope you enjoy the web site and please contact us with question and addition we can make. JD Burleson
