Ray Burleson, 67, was dead on arrival at City Memorial Hospital at ?:30 p.m. yesterday. He was a native of Stanly County and a retired carpenter.
Survivors: wife, Mrs. Gladys Russell Burleson; four sons: Roy, Jesse and Bobby of Thomasville; Otis of Route 2 Thomasville; three daughters, Mrs. Billy Culler of Route 2 Lexington, Mrs. Bill Shaw of Route 2, Thomasville, Miss Rachel Burleson of the home; three sisters Mrs. Jennie Morris of Spencer, Mrs. Jerome Bass of Lenoir City, Tenn., Mrs. John Materson of Salisbury; three brothers, Shellie Burleson of Rockwell, Marvin Burleson of Morganton, Dewev Burleson of Albemarle; 15 grandchildren.
